From my home to yours, wishing you all a very happy holidays and a happy new year!
Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly meme, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
Back again with another Top 10 Tuesday. That’s two in a row! Look at me go, haha. Oh this is what happens when I can’t sleep at night. Anyway.. I didn’t ask for any specific books for Christmas this year, but I always have a list of books I’d buy if I had a chance. Here are some I wouldn’t mind adding to my physical shelves..
A Harry Potter Box Set by JK Rowling. Believe it or not I don’t actually own my own copies of these books. I am currently borrowing them from my brother.
Keeping with Harry Potter, I’d love to have the illustrated books to share with my son.
Did you participate in this weeks TTT? If so leave me your links in the comments below.

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 21st and runs through Sunday, August 27th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 20 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team
I can’t believe that last Bout of Books Read-a-thon I participated in was a year ago! So its about time that I participate again. Not to mention that fact that I’m so far behind in my yearly reading goal. I’m hoping that this week will be as productive as can be.
Here is my tentative TBR:
On a cold November morning, a jogger runs through the woods in the peaceful Quebec village of Three Pines. On his run, he finds a dead man hanging from a tree.
The dead man was a guest at the local Inn and Spa. He might have been looking for peace and quiet, but something else found him. Something horrible.
Did the man take his own life? Or was he murdered? Chief Inspector Armand Gamache is called to the crime scene. As Gamache follows the trail of clues, he opens a door into the past. And he learns the true reason why the man came to Three Pines.
There are many ways to define a woman: daughter, mother, wife, professional, friend, student… We are each special and unique, yet we share a common connection.
Wishing the best to those who are participating.
